The Garment District is a neighborhood in Manhattan located between Fifth and Ninth Avenues, stretching from 34th to 42nd Street. It is has been well-known since the early 20th century as the fashion center of NYC fashion, and could be considered the foremost center of fashion design and manufacturing in the United States. The Garment Center is also known for its 'secret' sales shows and bargains. Shops and showrooms are available where as little as $10-15 can buy you a bargain. Madison Square Garden- Known as "The Garden" to New Yorkers, Madison Square Garden is New York's biggest entertainment arena, sitting atop historic Penn Station.
